Andrea Thorpe is a physician and educator specialising in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Over a 30-year career, she has gained extensive training and clinical experience in the United Kingdom, China and the United States. She holds a diploma in Chinese medicine from the London School of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (LSATCM), a Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Los Angeles), a three-year specialisation at Tao of Wellness (the sister clinic of Yo San University), and a Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM).
In addition, Andrea has complemented her formal training with certification courses at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and the American University of Complementary Medicine. She teaches healthcare professionals internationally and is a board member of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) as well as a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM).
